A. Audio Data (Microphone)
Purpose: To detect and analyze snoring patterns and sleep quality.
Usage: The App uses your device's microphone to listen to ambient sounds while you sleep.
Storage: SnoreTrack is designed to process audio locally on your device. We do not upload your raw audio recordings to any external server. Detected snoring events and their intensity metrics are stored locally in the App's database.
B. Camera Data
Purpose: To measure your heart rate using Photoplethysmography (PPG).
Usage: The App uses your device's camera and flash to detect blood flow in your finger.
Storage: Images or video frames captured for heart rate analysis are processed in real-time and immediately discarded. No photos or videos of your finger are saved to your device or transmitted anywhere.
C. Device and Subscription Data
Google Play Billing: We use Google Play's billing system for Premium subscriptions. We do not store or process your credit card information. Google provides us with an anonymous token to verify your subscription status.
2. How We Use Your Data
We use the collected data solely for providing the App's core functionalities:
- Analyzing sleep cycles and snoring sessions
- Providing sleep quality scores and trends
- Unlocking premium content (if subscribed)
- Displaying heart rate measurements
3. Data Storage and Security
Local Storage
Your sleep data (start/end times, snore counts, heart rate values) is stored in a private database on your device (Room Database).
Security
We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data stored locally. However, please note that no method of electronic storage is 100% secure.

SnoreTrack is NOT a medical device. The data, scores, and analysis provided by the App are for informational and recreational purposes only. They are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease or medical condition (such as Sleep Apnea). Always consult a qualified healthcare professional for medical advice.
